Yard Foreman

General Summary

The Yard Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily yard operations, including asset tracking, equipment management, and coordination of incoming and outgoing rentals. This role ensures the yard is organized, efficient, and operating safely while maintaining accurate records of all equipment. Forklift experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and manage yard assets including work strings, handling tools, downhole tools, frac tanks, and related equipment
  • Load and unload trucks safely using a forklift (required)
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing rental equipment
  • Organize and maintain yard inventory, including tool baskets and pipe
  • Clean, paint, stencil, and label equipment as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all yard inventory
  • Perform data entry and tracking using basic computer systems (including NetSuite or similar platforms)
  • Ensure all equipment is properly categorized and ready for deployment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient yard environment
  • Follow and enforce all safety standards and industry regulations

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Forklift experience (required)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Basic computer skills and experience with data entry
  • Ability to handle physical labor and work in an outdoor yard environment
  • Experience in oilfield, rental equipment, or yard operations preferred

Compensation

  • Pay based on experience
